I’m selling my 2014 Gibson Hummingbird from way back when it all started. It’s the guitar from the Fire video and the Capitol Records rooftop, and it stayed with me onstage for every show, every tour, right up to lockdown. I used to run it through a Blues Driver on full and slam my fist into the body to make the chords ring out. Every crack and dent was made onstage at the very beginning, already visible from that footage from over a decade ago. Somehow, it still sounds exactly the same as it always did.
